Pickering is Volkswagen located just minutes from downtown Toronto with a great 401 exposure. We are looking to add an aggressive Used Car Sales Manager to join our team. If you are looking for a new challenge with an opportunity to grow then we want to hear from you.
Uses the selling tools and processes provided to coach and mentor the sales staff. Work in a sales oriented environment being prepared to assist with closing all deals. Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, the manufacture and the ability to exceed their expectations. Provide coaching and leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on selling the right vehicles to the customer. Work closely with the General Manager to review daily sales objectives and help to improve sales performance and employee/customer enthusiasm. Monitor sales consultants and provide selling assistance when appropriate. Make sure sales consultants adhere to all internal polices. Monitor show room for cleanliness and sales consultants work stations for clutter. Ensures all point of sale material is current at all times. Must ensure a clean, tidy and well organized lot.
Understands current marketing strategies and works with the General Manager and the Marketing team to provide marketing direction to sell down inventories.
Oversees sale training requirements as required in Volkswagens online portal. Ensures customer tracking policy is followed and used every working day. Extensive product knowledge. Encourages and trains sales staff on how to follow up with clients who are interested in our products and inspects their work. Ability to listen to customer wants and needs recommending the best purchase options. Ability to effectively communicate with all team members. Extensive knowledge of OMVIC rules and regulations. Ability to encourage vehicle sales with customers. Ability to answer customer’s questions pertaining to product, sales programs and other internal and corporate rebates. Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain these systems and functionalities to the customer. Must calculate sales persons bonus/commissions, spiffs and other earnings and submit with in the agreed upon dates provided.
Strong use of OEM websites, and CES tools. Able to navigate the DMS easily Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Office. Able to recognize what inventory to buy, carry and display based on market trends
THE USED CAR SALES MANAGER Is a decisive person who is genuinely customer oriented and goal driven. Is interested in exceeding customer’s expectations. Must maintain a professional image at all times. Must set a good example for all employees to follow. Must be able to work well with all team members and create employee enthusiasm. Must be able to motivate team members and have a positive attitude. Must be detail oriented and able to document information accurately and clearly. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and time constraints. Is interested in, and has the ability to identify potential departmental problems and works with the General Manager to develop action plans to ensure customer enthusiasm and departmental growth and profitability.
