Two Programs, One Goal: Your Peace Of Mind.

Volkswagen Assurance Program

If a Volkswagen vehicle is less than 7 years old and has less than 160,000 km, a Volkswagen dealer can certify it after it successfully completes a rigorous 112-point inspection and after it has been reconditioned.

Once it has been certified, your vehicle will be automatically eligible for the Volkswagen Assurance Program, which covers the vehicle for the remainder of the new vehicle’s limited warranty in addition to giving you complimentary roadside assistance** for 6 months, and the Volkswagen Plus Owner Privileges Program. If you are interested in an extended warranty and roadside assistance, you could opt for the Volkswagen Assurance Premium Program.

Volkswagen Assurance Premium Program

If the Volkswagen vehicle you’re buying is less than 5 years old and has less than 120,000 km, you can upgrade to the Assurance Premium Program and receive a 2-year / 40,000 km (whichever occurs first) warranty; this is added to the rest of the vehicle’s new vehicle limited warranty, and includes 2 years of additional roadside assistance.** The program covers any repair or service deemed necessary because of a broken or malfunctioning part covered by the warranty.

Volkswagen passenger vehicles sold in Canada are eligible for roadside coverage for 4 years or 80,000 km, beginning at the date of vehicle delivery, or warranty start date, whichever occurs first. Certified Pre-owned vehicles are provided with an additional coverage beginning at the expiration of the original coverage or sale date of the Certified Pre-owned vehicle, whichever is greater.
